Our tiles are fired in state-of-the-art kilns to temperatures in excess of 2,500°F, this temperature and the time the tiles spend in the kiln ensures a completely backed tile with no black core also known as Carbon residue, making them impervious to rain, snow, heat, and fire. On first entry into the United States in 2001, our tiles were rigorously tested and certified Grade 1 (ASTM C 1167) the highest rating for resistance to frost action and water absorption. This means our tiles can be applied in any region of the country. Our tiles have also been rated Class A”ASTM E108 (UL 790) for a front line defense for your building against fire.
